'Believe' is not your usual dose of melodic trance and will definitely cause a great atmospheric stir on the dance floor. David's huge vocal work combined with Sean's great original sounds alongside all those magic hands in the air moments are all part of the journey. Armin van Buuren, Dj Feel, Lange, Judge Jules, William Daniel / Tillate Magazine support.
I would like to formally congratulate Skyer (aka Matt Skyer) for winning the Lift Remix Competition hosted by Discover, Trackitdown, & KRK Sytems. His remix took him to the top of the 300+ entries that were received and won by the public Top 10 vote-off over 2 weeks time-span. The hybrid fusion of trance, tech trance, & dubstep combined into a work that highlighted the Original Mix's aspects, but brought it to a modern light. Matt will be receiving a KRK ERGO Room Optimization unit and will be doing a track with me (which I can imagine is going to be some driving melodic stuff!) in early 2012! Congraulations Matt!!
... Only by .7% less votes came the Darren Porter Remix for 2nd Place, whose placement of unique vocals helped spin this one into Darren's own sound, along with a very slick mixdown. Darren will be receiving apaur of KRK KNS8400 STudio Headphoen Monitors. Congratulations Darren!
Tytanium Sessions Podcast 130 NOW ONLINE!
2012 is turning out to be a VERY interesting year in dance music, and I cannot wait to see where this train is going! Lots of great new stuff this week from Stoneface & Terminal, Protoculture, Horny Sanchez, Zuri, Markus Schulz, Ummet Ozcan, Aly & Fila, Thomas Penton, and more!
Argentina once again rocked my world this weekend, I'm ready for a straight 2 weeks of studio work now, so let's get cracking first-off, with the new Tytaium Sessions!
In such a great mood after this weekend's show over in Cartagena, Colombia. If this is any hint of how the quality of shows are going to be this year, I really cannot wait for the rest of what's in store (and wouldn't you know it, NEXT week is Argentina, the best place on Earth for dance music)... Let's get down to business this week shall we?
Heavy duty 2 weekends in USA and Russia have come to a close and finally back in Switzerland and bck in the studio. Though I'll be taking a couple days off, the show as always must go on for the listeners! Here's a shiny new episode for you to sink your teeth (and hopefully ears) into.
Just came off an unbelieveable weekend in the states in LA and Denver, Subculture night was simply magical alongside John O'Callaghan and W & W, a sell-out crowd and electric vibe. And then Forstbite in Denver for another rocking night! A day late with the podcast upload but better late than never!
Winter is FINALLY here physically (well at least here in Switzerland where the snow has begun to fall very late). I love this time, the holidays, the crazy mall shopping, just simply everything. And in line with that, the music this week's been great as well! Check it out and enjoy!
After a devastating bit of news about not being able to go to India due to the Embassy here simply being inundated by too many Visa applications, the show must go on... Should most likely be rescheduling to get back to you all in India in January! Hopefully this episode of Tytanium Sessions can help bring the week into full swing. New tracks by Markus Schulz, Wezz Devall, Protoculture, Mark Eteson, Akira Kayosa, and more!
Finally the cold has set into the weather (at least over here in Europe, I think you Ozzies are baking right about now). Lot's of great new music this week, actually it's a VERY diverse range of stuff this week, so don't miss this one!
Gearing up for the next couple of weeks of heavy travel, I've been going through plenty of new music for the upcoming shows. You can hear a lot of it on this show, plenty of fresh meat by Armin, Organ Donors, Thomas Penton, Phunpark, Richard Durand, and many more!
Turning one more year older today, I actually feel one year younger! Its been an insane last twelve months, mostly just because I have learned so many new techniques and really put almost all of them to use already on new material. I am loving where my head is at these days and I really hope you enjoy where it's all going! Lots of great new tracks this week including John Askew, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Paul Webster, Sly One vs. Jurrane, and many more!
Halloween is finally upon us! I don't know if you live in a country that really celebrates this very unique holiday or not, but regardless, let's get into a celebratory mood and rock in this week with a new Tytanium Sessions. Looks like summer is finally over. The temperature's dropped quite a few degrees in the last week all over Europe as the leaves change color and hot soup specials start popping up more on restaurant menus again. Let's try to heat you up a bit for this week!
After having just left the BPM Exhibition in Birmingham, it's pretty inspirational to see other methods of DJing, and really puts me in the mood to be playing, luckily I comeback on the day I have to make my next Tytanium Sessions :)
....Hard to describe how much faith I have in the whole USA after events like Electric Daisy, Electric Zoo, and now Nocturnal Wonderland. USA festivals are by far & away the best I have ever seen anywhere this year, and I can only hope it continues! Let's get in the mood for another week of solid new tracks!
....Really terrific to be able to celebrate the 20th Birthday of Ministry of Sound this past weekend over at Gallery night. Really put me in a great mood to put together the next show for you, easily one of my favorite collections of new tunes in a while, check out what this week is serving up...
...In the aftermath of Electric Zoo NYC, I don't even know what tosay as far as how enthused I am about how well I saw trance music received in NYC last Saturday. Let's keep it going.....
...Truly pretty amazing to have spent some serious time in NYC this summer, first for Tytanium Sessions 100, and last weekend for Electric Zoo. The vibes I could feel really took me back to how it all was about 10 years ago and more. This is really encouraging to see the scene thriving so much there. This episode of Tytanium is going to reflect this kind of good mood, as I've just received some great pure trancers!
Tytanium Sessions is 4 Monday's each month, so occasionally there is an extra Monday somewhere in there, and on these Mondays, you get you Tytanium Sessions fill a day early...
...Just 5 more days to go until Electric Zoo NYC!!! An absolute pleasure to back to my home state and be a part of such a historic event! ...and yet I think we've barely even had a taste of it! For probably over 80% of the days since June, it's rained, at least over here in Switzerland. Well, that's just fine, let's chase the heat and pick up the pace a bit, with the new Tytanium Sessions Episode! New tracks by Patterson, Downey, Oakenfold, O'Callaghan, Porter, and myself.
I Hope everyon'e summer is a bit less rainy than mine over here in Switzerland! Though to be completely honest, I don't really mind becaue it gives me an excuse to stay in the studio. Some new bits from me in this show, the new collab with Björn Akesson and a new Syat Naes remix I have done for Full Tilt & Orlay Feeney, as well as new tracks by Ummet Ozcan, John Askew, Neal Scarborough, Thomas Penton, & more!
